Who Do I Look Like? Where Do My Talents Come From?

Family History

As members of the Church, we are taught how important families are, and the more we learn about our families, the more we can grow to love them.

Sharing family stories and listening to one another helps create understanding, empathy, and trust.

Our family history helps explain how we got where we are, where we got our most important traits, and why we look the way we look.

As we share discoveries, stories, photographs, and other memories, we establish family bonds and strengthen the love between our family members.

With the FamilySearch Family Tree App and a conversation, you can help a friend begin to discover who they are as it relates to their ancestors. Sharing Family Connections=Sharing a Gospel Principle.

As you live the gospel, you will feel the love of Heavenly Father and His Son, Jesus Christ, and your love for Them will increase.

Family history is a perfect way to build trusting and loving relationships that can lead to sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ with others.

Below is a picture of Linda Lovshin's grandson, Isaac Kohler, with his grandpa Buck. He has similar characteristics as his grandpa.

Isaac also likes to draw and paint. The painting below was painted by his great grandmother, Mary Roggia.

Almost all of Linda's children and some grandchildren have this same talent.
