We Can Call Down The Powers Of Heaven And Be Healed

I sometimes think I can heal myself, but I have come to understand and have gained a testimony that I need the power of the priesthood to really be healed. Only I can ask for a priesthood blessing. This is partly how I access God’s power, by asking for it.

Once I receive the blessing that comes literally from God, I have His power in me.

“When the woman is the leader in her home, she is instrumental in bringing the power and blessings of the priesthood into her family through her endowment and sealing in the temple. While she is not authorized to give the priesthood blessings that can be given only by a person holding a certain office in the priesthood, she can perform all of the other functions of family leadership. In doing so, she exercise the power of the priesthood for the benefit of the children over whom she presides in her position of leadership in the family.” Dallin H. Jesus is always there to help us access His power. I never always knew that I could call down the powers of heaven by taking advantage of His priesthood power.

Through priesthood blessings and through the temple endowment, I understand how this power works.

I received a priesthood blessing recently and was healed.

I testify that the Lord has given us priesthood power in times when we feel overwhelmed, and I have also come to understand that as I go to the temple and do family history work, I obtain more readily those priesthood powers.
