Press Forward In Christ As We Keep His Commandments
In Malachi 4:6 we are told to “turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to the fathers, lest God comes and smites the earth with a curse.”
By finding my ancestors through family search, such as cousins, uncles, and aunts that I never knew I had, I have found I have some royalty in my family—dukes and duchesses. I also find information concerning their health and physical challenges. I find out when they were born and died.
After I find this information, I begin to understand more about myself. I learn the good and bad and become a better person by knowing those examples and experiences they have been through. I find strength in my present circumstances.
By following God’s commandment to turn our hearts towards our fathers and our fathers’ hearts towards us, we get to work together on both sides of the veil and become a better people.
