December Fourth Word of the Fourth Week 2023

Belong: Be the property of. Be a member of a particular group organization or class. The sense of filling in or feeling like you are an important member of a group. (Oxford Dictionary)

Do you think you are someone’s property? What group are you a member of? Do you feel like an important member of that group?

We all belong, in some respects, to our family. Our parents gave us life, and in some sense, we are our parents property. We cannot escape their genes that exist inside of us.

We cannot escape the inheritance of our body autonomy.

But we are more than a body of flesh and bones. We are heavenly. We have a spirit. Our spirit comes from God, who does in many ways, own us. He died for us. Without Him, we could not exist.

This week, think about this most important group that you belong to. Think about how you are contributing to this group.

Next year, make goals how you can bring more of your spiritual self to the mortal body. Think about how you can become more heavenly and evolve into more of your heavenly self.
