When we minister and participate in missionary work, we might have fears. The only way to get rid of fear and develop a stronger, more sure foundation of faith in God and in our testimony of ministering and missionary work is to keep acting until our fears no longer exist.

Be Anxiously Engaged

When we are anxiously engaged in good causes, creating ministering opportunities of our own free will to our family, friends, and community, we are letting our light shine, and this causes a ripple effect, creating a pattern for generations to follow. This ripple effect aids in binding our own family and other families together forever.

Do you share the gospel and minister because you are compelled to or because sharing the gospel is planted in your heart and you look forward to creating opportunities. God wants us to act from our own conscious, spreading His light and love to His children who are without it, who are temporarily lost, who need a friend, or who just need an uplift. This month, choose to be a wise steward.

Seek Truth Through The Holy Ghost
“The words ‘Receive the Holy Ghost’ are not a passive pronouncement; rather, they constitute a priesthood injunction—an authoritative admonition to act and not simply to be acted upon.”

The Holy Ghost reveals all truth to us, so when we receive the Holy Ghost and are led to act, it is like an order from God to follow. When you are ministering this month, think about the truths the Holy Ghost is revealing to you and then act as if God, Himself, is there asking you to follow the action.
