There will be a Helena, Montana open house May 18-June 3, 2023 (excluding Sundays). They need Ushers, Parking Lot Attendants, and Shoe-Cover Volunteers.
Parking Lot Attendant
Aid in the movement and safety of vehicles and pedestrians as they enter and exit the Temple parking lot in an orderly fashion. Plan to stand for most or all of your shift.
Usher
Ushers will stand at certain locations in the Temple to help with reverence and flow of tours as individuals view the different rooms in the Temple. You must be able to stand for most if not all of your shift. You will help direct tours to the next room as groups proceed through the Temple.
Shoe-Cover Volunteer (Youth Ages 11-18)
As guests come to the front doors of the Temple, youth will help put shoe covers on each of the guests before they enter. Youth will also assist guests in removing their shoe covers as they exit the Temple. You will be among the first friendly faces the guests meet and the last cheery faces they see as they exit a wonderful tour of the beautiful Helena Montana Temple.
You will be able to sign up for volunteer positions starting Sunday, March 26th at 7pm.
