There are many people who donate their time to support the Butte Community.
Here are a few free activities that are on a weekly schedule throughout 2023 given by people who just want to help members of the community grow in positive ways.
Go to the Butte Public Library to support these groups. If you have a talent you want to donate, let the Butte Public Library know.
Cooking Classes
Second and Fourth Thursday from 4:30-5:30 pm.
Butte Beekeepers
Second Tuesday at 5:30 pm. For more information call, Jennifer @ 928.581.7138.
Memoir Life Writing Group
Thursdays 1:00 – 3:00 pm, in the Big Butte Room, 3rd Floor. This group meets to share stories and practice writing.
The Loosely Knit Club
This club practices knitting, crocheting, and crafts. Tuesdays from 1:00 – 3:00 pm. Bring your own projects and enjoy a supportive environment.
Writing Workshop
By Caroline Patterson, Author and Executive Director Missoula Writing Collaborative. Thursday, May 11, 2023 @ 5:30 pm. One time event.
Free Books
Friday is free book day from 9:00 am – 5:00 pm. Come in and take a book.
Butte Chess Club
Wednesdays 5:00 – 7:00 pm. All ages welcome.
4:00 – 5:00 pm Clubs
Tuesdays: Lego Club—Library has blocks to build with.
Wednesday: Wii and Games Club—Computer and Board Games.
Thursdays: Computer Club—Library Techs guide you through how to work the computer.
Fridays: Science Club—Hands on experiments and fun inquires.
