Gathering Israel: Missionary Service 2023

Elder Vance Stapley is currently serving his mission for the Butte Second Ward in Madagascar. He is following God’s Commandments by showing God how much he loves Him and all the while serving and loving his neighbors in Madagascar.

In this picture, he is with an Elder from the Philippines who arrived the same time as he did, Elder Lopez. They are going back to their apartment in the middle of a rainstorm after a family home evening.

President Lee said, “Family Home Evenings not only are an invaluable opportunity for religious instruction. They also serve to unite families, to bridge generation gaps, and to maintain communication between parents and children.”

Family home evenings can be had, not only with families, but with friends and missionaries.
