Isaac Ammon Kohler
2023-2025 Missionary Serving In Oakland/San Francisco California
"Within my heart is the compelling desire that all members of the Church, young and old, be influenced by and motivated by that special spirit which accompanies the sharing of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Would that all had intimate and continuous association with the missionary spirit!"
Elder Carlos E. Asay
Isaac Ammon Kohler Is Now A Missionary

Elder Kohler is now a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
He was set apart on September 17, 2023.
Elder Kohler's favorite scripture is Isaiah 62:9, "But they that have gathered it shall eat it, and praise the LORD; and they that have brought it together shall drink it in the courts of my holiness."
Elder Kohler invites you to act in faith, as acting in faith is the biggest blessing. He encourages you to ask the question, "How do you show your faith?"
As Isaac serves, information on how his mission is progressing will be updated.
His email is isaac.kohler@missionary.org.
Send him good thoughts while he is serving on his mission, and hopefully, you will hear from him and how his mission is going.
Elder Kohler left the MTC on October 13, 2023, and is now in Oakland.
If you want to send him a letter or package, the address is:

Elder Isaac Ammon Kohler On His Mission
Update: October 19, 2023

In these pictures, Elder Kohler is visiting The Oakland Temple.
“The temple is literally the house of the Lord. The Lord has commanded His people to build temples, holy buildings in which worthy Saints perform sacred ceremonies and ordinances of the gospel for themselves and for the dead. The Lord visits His temples, and they are the most holy of all places of worship.”
Guide to the Scriptures
There are many places in the world we can visit, but the most holy is the temples. Having temples on the earth today is a blessing.

These are pictures of Elder Kohler with his mission president and his wife, President and Sister Lash, and his companion Elder Gabriel Harrison.
The Resurrected Christ is the symbol of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
"Jesus is the living Christ, the immortal Son of God. He is the great King Immanuel, who stands today on the right hand of HIs Father. He is the light, the life, and the hope of the world. His way is the path that leads to happiness in this life and eternal life in the world to come. God be thanked for the matchless gift of His divine Son." The Living Christ

In these pictures, Elder Kohler is by the temple and his temporary home. The below picture is of his arrival in his mission with the other missionaries serving in that area.
Elder Kohler is in a poorer area of Oakland, and the branch is small, and he is very close to The Oakland Temple.

Isaac Ammon Kohler Arriving At The MTC (Missionary Training Center)

Isaac arrived at the MTC on September 27, 2023. He will be there until October 13, 2023. At the MTC, he learns how to be a missionary. He participates in lessons and practices with other missionary's possible situations they might experience and encounter on the mission.
Isaac Ammon Kohler Waiting To Serve His Mission

Isaac is going to serve for the Butte Second Ward. Serving the Lord will bring him closer to Him.
"Behold, I will send for many fishers, saith the LORD, and they shall fish them; and after will send for hunters, and they shall hunt them from every mountain, and from every hill, and out of the holes of the rocks.
And Jesus, walking by the sea of Galilee, saw two brethren, Simon called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea: for they were fishers. And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men. And they straightway left their nets, and followed him."
Isaac has been harvesting, hunting, working, and fishing his entire life for food, and now God is calling him to hunt and fish for men. Isaac has answered the call and God will lead him on his journey.
If you have a son or daughter who would like to serve a mission for the Butte Second Ward, contact the missionaries serving in the Butte Second Ward and they can help you get started.
You can also email or send a letter to Isaac when he begins his mission at the end of September. More information will be available later.
