Preach My Gospel Challenge

Our Butte Stake has encouraged us to read the “Preach My Gospel” (churchofjesuschrist.org) manual each year.
“Preach My Gospel” is a manual that teaches us how to be more effective missionaries as we focus on our Savior Jesus Christ.
The Stake have encouraged the reading of all scripture content contained in “Preach My Gospel.” If you listen to or read a page of “Preach My Gospel” each day, beginning in January, you will finish the manual by mid-September in 2023.
We would love to hear about your experiences this year as you take on this challenge. You can submit your thoughts and comments in the contact section, and we will place them on this site if you request it and it is approved.
My name is Charity Lovshin, from Butte, Montana, and I have accepted this challenge the last two years of 2021-22. Accepting this challenge is not easy because we are always being challenged by our own organizations to read other groups of scripture, so finishing it in September lets you have three months to ponder what you have learned and in my case is a needed break to focus on other scripture readings, but I can testify that reading and recording my thoughts about what is contained in “Preach My Gospel” has changed my view on missionary work and the importance of gathering Israel. It has brought much more peace to my mind and heart and has given me courage to share the gospel in more meaningful ways.
I encourage you to take this challenge and all other challenges as it pertains to reading the scriptures.
Filling my days, first with scripture reading or listening, brings balance to my life as I learn the Lord’s ways at new levels and my mind is filled with good thoughts throughout the day.
