The Butte Second Ward Relief Society yearly 2023 theme is “Press Forward in Christ,” and our Relief Society Activities and temple trips will be focused on a monthly theme in connection to the yearly theme. This will be updated monthly on the home page.
We will have Relief Society activities on the second Tuesday every other month and Temple Trips on the second week every other month on Thursday/Friday.
Jesus Christ is pure love, and as we press forward this year, our hope as your Relief Society Presidency, is that we include love in all that we do.
To press forward means to "proceed forward with more urgency by exerting continuous physical force, especially when facing adversity" (wiktionary.org).
As we choose to press forward in love, we must move or cause to move in a continuous force. Whether this force is gradual or quick, we hope that we can encourage you to move with love as you motivate yourself and others to press forward in Christ.
If we follow a steady course of action, we will grow individually in our testimonies and our example will extend to all who see our light.
Our Relief Society sisters are a bright light, and we see you press forward as you serve your family, sisters, ward, and community. We are grateful for all that you do. We see you and recognize you.

We also see our sisters in the community as they press forward in the spirit of Christ. We see them serve and love their community and hope that we can combine our efforts to make our Butte community more united in spirit and physicality.
